Koenigsegg’s Regera hypercar is special in a lot of ways. But perhaps the most interesting part of the car is the fact that it doesn’t have a transmission. The twin-turbo V8 sends power to three electric motors—one mounted on the front of the crankshaft to power the batteries, and one for each rear wheel.
